Gina Ferraraccio is the founder and creative inspiration behind Cri de Coeur. The Parsons School of Design graduate has launched a brand of high-fashion low-impact footwear – including this this incredibly sexy shoe – based in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, USA.

Partnering with The Carbon Fund to offset her inevitable carbon footprint, Ferraraccio pledges to plant a tree for every shoe sold.

According to Letizia Rossi – writing in Cool Hunting – “[a] socially conscious means of production would mean little if it wasn’t for the exquisite craftmanship and blatant sex appeal”.
